Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, this Canadian Singer/Songwriter was raised in the small community of Malton just outside of Toronto. She was always writing poems and always wanted a way to express herself. After seeing a guitar at her sister's house, she was intrigued by the instrument and decided that she would use that instrument to express her poems through music. After moving to Concord, NC, Forte began writing her own songs and started to record them on her home computer. She finally got the chance to prove her talent when working a promotion at ‘City Fest' in Charlotte, NC; a band that was supposed to perform didn't show up. She decided to ask if she could take the stage to sing her original songs and they agreed. After that night they asked her to return as a performer. Since then, she has continued to pursue her talent and searched for different avenues to have her music heard.
